Paula Deen has type-2 Diabetes but no change in diet?

As many people know, Paula Deen, Food Network's comfort food queen, has confirmed that she has type-2 Diabetes. It seems as though, the people that are surprised by this diagnosis, are few and far between. With recipes like Piggy Pudding, Fisher Nutter Bacon Cheese Ball, and Ultimate Fantasy Deep-Fried Cheesecake; it is a wonder that she hasn't had a heart attack.

She says that she has always been an advocate for moderation, but everyone is wondering when she's mentioned it at all. The real problem lies in the fact that she is completely ignoring that it is the dietary choices she has made that has gotten her to this point. Instead, she is partnering up with Novartis, a pharmaceutical company that manufactures diabetes medication. Paula has an opportunity to help her sick, and overweight fans overcome this by promoting a healthy diet and lifestyle; but she has chosen a route of greed and perpetuating bad habits.

A vegan diet has been shown to significantly improve the health of people with type-2 Diabetes, and reduce their weight and hemoglobin. People with type-2 Diabetes run a high risk of heart disease, stroke, kidney failure, blindness, and limb loss, which is scary enough as it is. So, what is the plan? Will she get paid to endorse Diabetes medication until she gets paid to endorse heart disease medications, and so on and so on?

Deen, is exploiting her vulnerable and sick fanbase in order to make money off of her own diagnosis. What people need to know is that eating a plant-based diet, and living a compassionate life will help your health significantly, not using medication given to you buy a company that wants you to stay sick so that they can continue to make millions.
