Paula Broadwell loses her promotion after Petraeus scandal (Video)

Paula Broadwell, the former mistress of General David Petraeus, has been demoted from Lieutenant, according to a Feb. 26 report on the Las Vegas Sun. Broadwell was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserves last August, and the promotion has now been “stalled” until she is no longer the subject of an investigation.

According to the Las Vegas Sun, this is correct Army protocol when there is an investigation going on within six months of a promotion. The investigation is not concerned with Paula Broadwell’s affair with General David Petraeus but the folders of classified documents found within her possession that were supposedly for use in her book about General Petraeus, “All in: The Education of General David Petraeus.”

Paula Broadwell continues to garner media attention, although she has not appeared in public for several months. Here is a raw video of Paula Broadwell, her husband, and their children arriving home. The reporters, standing outside their open garage, are greeted with a polite “no comment” type statement. Although it is at night, Paula Broadwell is wearing sunglasses and carrying her little boy. She leaves her husband to make excuses to the media, who seem generally polite, as she proceeds to take her little boy in the house.
