Paul Walker died two weeks ago and many fans have been wondering what will become of "The Fast and the Furious 7" which Walker was filming before a car crash claimed his life. On Dec. 14, Hollywood Life reported that Paul Walker's brother, Cody Walker, has been in talks with producers and he could join the cast.
"[Producers] soon realized they needed someone who looked like Paul to finish the movie and that’s when they approached his nearly identical brother, Cody. They can shoot Cody from behind and at distance. If it’s a shot they need Paul’s face in close up, they can CGI it later on," a source told Mail Online.
Paul Walker and his brother Cody, 25, look similar but their faces look different enough that if Cody did step in for Paul, it wouldn't be easy. However, as Hollywood Life points out, Cody likely won't just finish the movie and let everyone pretend that it was Paul the whole time. Many believe that Paul Walker's character, Brian O’Connor, will die in "The Fast and Furious 7" and that Cody may be used as a "body double" so that the film can show O'Connor's death.
Surprisingly, fans are in support of this. While it does seem odd (and maybe too early to even be thinking about it), fans want Walker in the final movie and since he's filmed a few scenes, they don't want the film scrapped -- and Paul Walker probably wouldn't want that either. So, bringing in Cody as a way to make it work might be a possibility.
Do you think Paul Walker's brother Cody Walker will agree to this? Do you think it's a good idea?
