Paul Walker was laid to rest in a private, small ceremony on Dec. 14. According to MSN, Paul Walker's family gathered at the Forest Lawn cemetery in Los Angeles to say their final goodbye's to Walker. The ceremony lasted about 45 minutes according to a source who preferred to remain anonymous. The source said that the family stood under a green tent and that there was a large photo of Walker to the side of the burial area.
As previously reported, Paul Walker was killed along with his friend, Roger Rodas, when Rodas lost control of the Porsche he was driving. Police believe that speed was a factor in the crash.
Paul Walker was laid to rest two weeks after the accident. It took a bit of extra time for the medical examiner to complete Walker and Rodas' autopsies because their bodies were so badly burned. The family also didn't immediately know where they were going to bury Walker -- some reports suggest that his body was cremated but the family still chose to bury his ashes.
Paul Walker's death shocked the world and the outpouring of support from his fans has been incredible. Although he has been laid to rest, people have still be visiting his makeshift memorial and leaving cards, candles, and posters in his honor.
While Paul Walker was laid to rest privately on Saturday but sources say that Walker's family is planning a memorial service of sorts and they have invited friends of Walker including his "Fast and Furious" co-stars.
