Paul Walker's funeral will be private according to People Magazine. On Dec. 10, Walker's body was released to his family by the LA County Coroner. Walker's remains are at Forest Lawn Mortuaries and his services will be private. This is likely because Walker's family is still having a very hard time with his passing. Only his closest friends will be invited -- presumably -- as the report does not claim that the services will be family only.
As previously reported, Paul Walker died in a car crash along with his friend, Roger Rodas. The two men had just left a charity event when Rodas lost control of the car. The red Porsche hit a tree and a telephone pole before bursting into flames. Paul and Roger were both burned so badly that the medical examiner needed their dental records to properly identify their bodies.
The Paul Walker funeral will take place very soon however further details have not been released to the public. The family will likely pay their respects in front of a closed casket as Walker's body was unidentifiable (unless of course he is to be cremated).
Walker's daughter, Meadow Walker, and his longtime girlfriend, Jasmine Pilchard-Gosnell, have taken this loss the hardest. They will both be at his funeral (presumably) as will Walker's mother and father. His "Fast Family" has also been invited according to TMZ (that includes Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster to name a few).
The Paul Walker funeral -- though private -- will likely still be picketed by the Westboro Baptist Church. More on that story here. According to TMZ, the Walker family is planning to hold a larger memorial service following the funeral but that too will be a private, invitation only event.
