The Paul Walker autopsy results are in lockdown today. According to MSN, the LA county coroner has put a security hold on Paul Walker and Roger Rodas' autopsy results which means that the public will have to wait to hear them -- and it could be a while.
The case has "been placed on security hold. No information is to be released on either decedent at this time," Lieutenant Fred Corral told Us Weekly. While some people think that this is bad news, that may not be the case. The autopsy findings could be kept private out of respect for the families of the deceased -- especially because this is such a public spectacle. Also, the results could give insight into the police investigation and releasing the information could affect the legal aspects of the case.
Many expected Paul Walker's autopsy results to be released today but this is all very serious and if the coroner had to keep the results private, that's part of his job. Many people feel entitled to know exactly what is going on but they fail to remember that Paul Walker was just a celebrity to them. His family deserves privacy and respect and the police have a job to do -- and that's that.
Sure, Paul Walker's cause of death is on everyone's mind (did he die from the impact of the accident or the subsequent inferno?) but it's important to respect the process at this point.
Not receiving the Paul Walker autopsy results today doesn't change anything. He's still gone and people should still be remembering him for the great person that he was. Check out the video above for a look back at all of the famous people the world lost in 2013.
