Paul Walker's autopsy is happening today according to the L.A. county coroner. On Dec. 2, E! News confirmed that the coroner will be moving ahead with Walker's autopsy three days after the accident that took his life occurred. As previously reported, the coroner had been waiting on dental records before proceeding with the customary proceedings.
"I cannot confirm with 100 percent certainty that the examinations will take place tomorrow. We are working on the identification issues concurrently," the coroner's office told E! News. Once Walker's body can be positively identified, the coroner can release autopsy information such as Walker's cause of death.
Paul Walker's autopsy should be today as long as the coroner can get a positive match for Walker and the driver of the vehicle, Roger Rodas. The bodies of the two friends were so badly burned that the coroner needed their dental records to properly ID them. Many fans find themselves wondering if Paul and Roger died in the actual crash or if they burned alive. Many hope that their deaths were quick and that the two didn't struggle.
The outpouring of love and support following Paul Walker's shocking death has been truly amazing. The "Fast Family" has been rocked but not broken. They will stick together as they await to attend one of the most difficult funerals ever.
Paul Walker autopsy results could be released today also... but it's possible that the coroner will hold off releasing the results publicly until later in the week. Updates on his autopsy and his funeral will be posted here. Check back often for the most up-to-date information.
