Born and raised in San Diego, Paul "The Ultimate" Vaden grew up poor, but in a loving family. Not stopping there, Vaden would flourish as a pro, winning the IBF light middleweight title in 1995, becoming the only native San Diegan to become a world boxing champion.
On top of the world, Vaden would face tragedy in and out of the ring, sending the champion spiraling out of control, but Vaden was a fighter, and would once again emerge as champion, this time at life.
These days, Vaden has reinvented himself, he has come full circle and teaches others the art of body, mind and spirit.
