On January 24, 2013 while on afternoon break at work in Scarborough, Paul Shishis of Oshawa, “had a feeling” that something might be present in the skies overhead. This type of ‘feeling’ has become second nature to Paul, who has captured many UFOs in photos and on film.
“I kind of had a feeling with camera on hand at break time,” he explained. “I went outside looking at a relatively clear sky after 3:10 p. m. After three minutes, I notice southwest some miles away in the sky a bright moving white light shine on and off heading eastward.”
Paul said this sighting on lasted less than 10 seconds. He thought perhaps it was “just a reflection from the sun on a conventional aircraft,” so he waited to see if a plane was coming by but nothing did.
“But what did catch my eye looking south-southeast was a brilliant white translucent cigar-shape line about over Lake Ontario high in the sky. This thing looked quite distinctive in color compared to the clouds. I thought it was probably a jet heading south with a short trail.”
After a minute still watching it, he noticed that it seemed to be moving.
“At 3:19 p.m., I took several photos to capture what I was witnessing,” he said. “It also appeared to be sitting on a angle in the sky. After about three minutes, it was gone. I thought it strange by contrast of it being brilliant white and cigar shaped,” as well as the fact that it remained “stationary for that length of time.”
Paul also noted that there had been the “unknown bright white light” at first that was going on and off. Then when his photos were enhanced thanks to a friend, “There appeared to be a structured craft in this anomaly…yet it does look remarkably translucent and I’m not really sure what it is.”
