If you haven't visited Paul's Market in Boise or its surrounding area locations, you are missing out! Exclusive to Idaho since 1955, Paul's provides a variety of local products including produce, meats, and specialty foods. I, however, love Paul's for the bakery.
Paul's Market bakery offers a wide variety of freshly baked goods such as breads and rolls, cakes, pies, cookies, and more. Yes, other grocery stores offer the same things, but Paul's stands out to me because of the taste and quality. Also, Paul's offers more diverse specialty baked items as well.
The baked goods prices are very competitive. I love the super soft homemade sourdough bread bowls that come in a two pack for only $1.29. I also fell in love with the Texas Cinnamon Rolls. These fresh rolls are colossal in size and are offered in traditional with a cream cheese icing, or my favorite, a caramel icing with slivered almonds. The icing is a glaze of caramelized sugar that almost has the consistency of candy. It gets crunchy as it drizzles down the sides of the roll. Inside is soft and buttery with a touch of cinnamon.
Paul's has 8 locations with 1 in Boise, Kuna, Mountain Home, Homedale, Caldwell, McCall, and 2 in Nampa. Remember to buy Idaho!
