Dr. Paul Nassif, a successful Beverly Hills and Park Avenue plastic surgeon, is suing ex-wife Adrienne Maloof’s personal chef Bernie Guzman for blackmail and extortion, TMZ reported on Feb. 4. Guzman was introduced to fans of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” during season one of the hit Bravo reality television show. Lisa Vanderpump, Adrienne’s BFF at the time, took exception with many comments Bernie made about her behind her back. Guzman’s contempt for Vanderpump was no secret. Now, Chef Guzman is attacking Paul Nassif’s reputation.
Nassif claims that Guzman spread false accusations of physical abuse by him to Maloof during his 10 year marriage to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Adrienne Maloof. The chef posted photos of Adrienne’s back covered in bruises on his personal Facebook page. Chef Bernie Guzman also posted on his personal Facebook page, “Adrienne Maloof was pushed to the ground. Punched and beaten. Now you know who and what he [Paul Nassif] really is…he’s a beast.”
Allegedly Bernie sent Nassif a text message saying, “Stop harassing me…Have you forgotten I witnessed you beat your wife…Kids & animals. I have plenty of pretty family photos…Some not so pretty…Stay away.” After receiving the text message, Paul Nassif contacted his attorneys to handle the situation.
Dr. Nassif denies all claims of physical abuse against Adrienne Maloof during their 10 year marriage. He called Guzman’s claims “outrageous lies.” Paul Nassif is suing for an unspecified amount in damages.
