Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell were out and about in Los Angeles last week to attend the VH1 Critics Choice Movie Awards and the Golden Globe Awards, where his song, "(I Want To) Come Home" was nominated in each competition for Best Song.
(You can see some pictures from their arrivals at the ceremonies in the related articles section below the picture at the left.)
The song didn't win, but McCartney and Shevell were pretty busy on Jan. 16, the day between the two awards shows. McCartney was honored by Disney at a vegetarian lunch at the Sunset Tower Hotel.
The Huffington Post reported that Disney chairman Bob Iger toasted Paul and said he talked him out of using "Let It Be" in the film "Everybody's Fine" and instead offered to write an original song. That ended up being "(I Want To) Come Home." Ringo Starr, Sir Elton John and Joe Walsh were among those in attendance.
(You can see some pictures from that here.)
He and Nancy also appeared at BAFTA's afternoon tea along with Quentin Tarentino, Helen Mirren and Joan Collins, to name a few. You can find some pictures from that here.
There are additional pictures and video also on Paul McCartney's website.
There was speculation that Paul might hang around for Ringo Starr's Tuesday night Grammy Museum show in Los Angeles, but he didn't.

Good for him. He appears happy and healthy and that can only mean more concerts from him in the future. And my doesn't Nancy look stunning. A nice couple indeed.
Ditto Shack.
