Paul McCartney and wife Nancy Shevell were among the celebrity faces pictured in New Orleans for Super Bowl weekend. They were pictured attending celebrity bashes, with at least one of them Saturday night, a day before the Baltimore Ravens became Super Bowl champions.
The happy couple were pictured at DIRECT's Super Saturday Night hosted by Mark Cuban's HDNet and Peyton Manning which featured performances by Justin Timberlake and Katy Perry. MusicFix reported Timberlake performed a 90-minute set that included music by Jay-Z. You can see two pictures of the McCartneys in the slide show.
Besides the McCartneys, the celebrity crowd included David Arquette, Sofia Vergara, Will Ferrell, actress Hayden Panettiere, former NFL player Jesse Palmer, Daniel Dae Kim, model/actress Shantel VanSanten, Erin Andrews, Nicole Murphy and Michael Strahan, Kate Upton and Leah Gibson.
Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell were also pictured in four shots (one, two, three and four) said to have been at Rolling Stone magazine's Super Bowl party. CBS Sports reported that Stevie Wonder headlined the event on Saturday night, closing his set with his big hit “Superstitition.”
Wonder was one of the celebrity faces in Super Bowl commercials during the game Sunday.
