In an interview to be broadcast next week on BBC Radio 1 for the documentary "The Beatles and Black Music," Paul McCartney reveals he was ok with Dangermouse's 2004 "The Grey Album" tribute to the Beatles' White Album and Jay-Z's Black Album that was hit with a cease and desist note by the Beatles' record label EMI.

I totally agree with Sir Paul, it's a tribute to the Beatles and EMI is being way too touchy on the subject. You never know, it could boost sales of the White Album. Fans of JayZ who aren't don't know that much about the White Album may want to check out the source.
99 problems on the Grey Album is fantastic. Great use of McCartney's bassline in Helter Skelter. Also, the song that samples while my guitar gently weeps is good too.
