One day after it was nominated in the 15th Annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards, Paul McCartney's song "(I Want To) Come Home" from the Robert De Niro movie "Everybody's Fine" has been nominated again -- this time for a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song -- Motion Picture.

The nominations were announced Tuesday. The awards show will be broadcast live at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Jan. 17, 2010 on NBC.

Also nominated in the category are  “Cinema Italiano”  from "Nine" (music and lyrics by: Maury Yeston);  “I Will See You” from "Avatar" (music by: James Horner, Simon Franglen, Lyrics by: James Horner, Simon Franglen, Kuk Harrell);  "The Weary Kind (Theme from 'Crazy Heart') (music and lyrics by: Ryan Bingham, T Bone Burnett); "Winter" from "Brothers" (Music by: U2, lyrics by: Bono). Both "Nine" and "The Weary Kind" were also nominated in the Critics' Choice Movie Awards with the McCartney song.

Golden Globe nominations generally bring up talk of Academy Award nominations. "(I Want To) Come Home" seems a likely candidate now, given its two nominations in these other awards. We'll have to wait until Feb. 22 when the Academy Award nominations are announced to find out.

He will get a nomination for an Oscar. His song fits the movie perfectly. I don't think he will win though as he will be up against U2 and Randy Newman. The song doesn't matter as much as who wrote it, which is too bad.

I agree with Marie. If U2 is in the category, they will win. Just like John Mayer, who beat him in every category for the grammys!

Well I'm bloody well happy for Paul, cause we all know his last try at the movies was a disaster. And to think I let Macca talk me into appearing in that thing. Worse Move in me career.
