Paul McCartney premieres new single; tracklist for new album leaked? (audio)

The first single from Paul McCartney’s new and as yet untitled album, which was premiered Monday on McCartney's website has now been released publicly.

The full album will be released by Hear Music/Concord Records on February 7.  The album is Paul’s tribute to his personal favorites and also includes two McCartney compositions.

The disc, produced by Grammy winner Tommy LiPuma, includes Diana Krall and her band and guest appearances from Eric Clapton and Stevie Wonder. LiPuma's past work includes Natalie Cole's Grammy winning "Unforgettable" album.

An unconfirmed tracklisting for the album with timings has been leaked on Wikipedia. Even though this is unconfirmed, for the fun of it, we've added the names of a few people who have sung the songs. (In no way are the lists definitive) and YouTube links for a few past versions so you can imagine what Paul McCartney's versions might sound like. (Since we don't have complete information here, we put up two different versions on one of the songs. We also added multiple links for the variety in singing styles.)

If this is the correct tracklist, "Always" and "Get Yourself Another Fool" (the Sam Cooke version, if that's the right one) sound especially promising.

Two of the songs have previously been released in versions on Apple Records. Ringo did "Bye, Bye Blackbird" on "Sentimental Journey" and Mary Hopkin did "Inchworm" on her first album.

Here's the leaked (and unofficial) tracklist. :

1. "I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter"   (Fred E. Ahlert/Joe Young) 2:36 (recorded by many including Dean Martin (second version from TV show), Frank Sinatra, Billy Williams, Fats Waller, Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, Bill Haley and the Comets.)
2. "Home (When Shadows Fall)"   4:04 (recorded by Sam Cooke)
3. "It's Only a Paper Moon"   (Harold Arlen/E. Y. Harburg/Billy Rose) 2:35 (recorded by Nat King Cole, Bobby Darin and Ella Fitzgerald)
4. "More I Cannot Wish You" (Loesser)  3:03 (from "Guys & Dolls," recorded by Ed Ames, written by Frank Loesser. Paul McCartney sang at a Loesser tribute.)
5. "The Glory of Love" (Hill)  3:45 (Dean Martin, Jimmy Durante)
6. "We Three (My Echo, My Shadow and Me)" (Dorsey/Robertson/Mysels)   3:22 (Frank Sinatra, Bill Kenny, Brenda Lee)
7. "Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive"   (Harold Arlen/Johnny Mercer) 2:31 (Sam Cooke, Louis Armstrong, Peggy Lee)

12. "Get Yourself Another Fool" (Forrest/Heywood)  4:42 (there is one song recorded Sam Cooke, Arthur Conley and Patty Griffin and a different one - a doo wop song - recorded by the Tempo Tones, but it's more likely it's the Sam Cooke song.)

14. "Only Our Hearts"   (Paul McCartney) 4:21
