The Times of London has an interview with Paul McCartney that has some interesting revelations.
He's says he's lost playing "The Beatles: Rock Band" in easy mode. “My assistant showed me how to set it up ’cos I’m not Mr Tech. I lost twice. On Easy.” (Uh, Paul, it goes into no-fail mode in the easiest setting.)
He also comments on the film "Nowhere Boy" and his comments lead to the conclusion that he's not really happy about it. He said he had some discussion with director Sam Taylor-Wood about how Aunt Mimi was portrayed. But even after changes were made, he says he found things in the movie that didn't happen. He concludes, "It captures the essence, but not for me. Because I was there. I hear it’s a good film. But it’s my life.”
He also says there is a possibility that he and John Lennon might have worked together again had Lennon lived. “I dunno. We were always a bit nervous of that. Had he lived it might have happened, there was a mellowing. It could have been pretty interesting.”
There's a lot more in the article -- comments about writing songs then and now and about marriage (no, not Heather Mills).
Definitely worth a read.

Nice interview with Paul,
but what's wrong with "The Frog Chorus" anyway?
:-)

I wonder if Paul was trying to play the game using the right handed version of the Hofner? That might explain his loss. Are left handed Hofners avaialble for the game? You may not 'lose' in easy mode, but I bet you know you you failed.
I love the Frog Chorus. It is a children's song for an animated film. It is a perfect song for that.
Nice to see Paul defending Aunt Mimi. This was the woman who supposedly made him come in the back door of the house - he was a lower class than they were - but he still defends her.
Marie--you can turn on something called "lefty flip", so the colored buttons appear backwards on the screen and you flip your guitar around.
Uhhm Steve, wouldn't you get "lost" if they came out with, "Hey kids, look its Jinglelism, yes thats right, Journalism for ages 3 to 5 years old". -get you career started early.... whatever.
:)
Steve,
You've got to be one of the dumbest guys on the planet. He said "lost" as in "I didn't know what I was doing" not as in "I lost the game."
Got something to say?
