On Sept. 23, Paul McCartney unveiled a new cover for his upcoming “New” album and officially announced the two studio tracks to be added to the deluxe version of the album. You can see the new "New" cover in the slide show on this page.
The two added tracks only in the deluxe version are “Turned Out,” produced by Ethan Johns with additional production by Giles Martin and “Get Me Out Of Here,” produced by Giles Martin.
Both the standard and deluxe versions will also include “Save Us,” produced by Paul Epworth; “Alligator,” produced by Mark Ronson; “On My Way To Work,” produced by Giles Martin; “Queenie Eye,” produced by Paul Epworth; “Early Days,” produced by Ethan Johns; the single “New,” produced by Mark Ronson with additional production by Giles Martin; “Appreciate,” produced by Giles Martin; “Everybody Out There,” produced by Giles Martin; “Hosanna,” produced by Ethan Johns; “I Can Bet,” produced by Giles Martin; “Looking At Her,” produced by Giles Martin; and “Road,” produced by Paul Epworth.
There was no word about a 15th track, "Scared," reportedly available through Walmart.
The deluxe version of the album can be ordered on iTunes and on Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, Amazon.co.jp, Amazon.co.uk and Walmart. You can order the vinyl onAmazon.com, Amazon.ca, Amazon.co.jp and Amazon.co.uk. The standard CD is available from Amazon.com and Walmart. A deluxe 15-track version is available from Walmart, adding "Turned Out," "Get Me Out of Here" and reportedly "Scared," also available from Amazon in France. An "exclusive" version is also available at Best Buy, but there are no details on what it contains. Available on Amazon.co.uk is a Mint Pack, but which appears to be the standard CD. The MP3 is available in the U.S., the UK and Japan.
Paul McCartney will appear Sept. 23 on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and perform on Hollywood Boulevard, part of which will be closed for the event. The Los Angeles Times reports that he will perform at 4 p.m. PT Monday. Anyone can come watch, but the paper said the best area for viewing was ticketed and all tickets have been snapped up. The block will stay closed through Tuesday because Justin Timberlake will perform outdoors on the show Tuesday.
