Paul McCartney, along with fellow Kennedy Center honorees Bill Jones, Jerry Herman, Oprah Winfrey and Merle Haggard, were honored Sunday at the the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. for their contributions to America's culture.
In addition to the five honorees, also seen tonight were his lady friend Nancy Shevell, his son, James, journalist Barbara Walters, who is Shevell's cousin, Gwen Stefani, Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, who's reported to be singing Beatle songs at the event, actor Sidney Poitier, Kid Rock and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.
We have pictures of all of them and more in the slideshow. The show will air on U.S. TV from 9-11 p.m. Dec. 28 ET/PT on CBS.
