Paul McCartney went on Twitter Oct. 3 taking questions directly from fans about his “New” album. The questions were surprisingly good with McCartney taking about an hour and discussing working with George Martin's son Giles, the album cover, and various songs from the album. The #askMacca tagline used to submit questions was showing at the top trend worldwide on Twitter during the session.
He ended the session by giving away an autographed CD to @dollybird1963 who submitted the first question and then said, "Thanks everyone for tweeting in with me! It's been a great experience and we must do it again sometime." A note posted shortly after the session ended said more questions might be answered over the next few days because of the tremendous number submitted.
