Paul McCartney gives video shoutout to fans in Canada ahead of Halifax gig

Paul McCartney has a new video message on his website for his Canadian fans that was shot during rehearsals in the UK for the upcoming concert Saturday at Halifax Common in Canada.

"Hey, everybody in Halifax. Hi there. We are in England at the moment and we rehearsing for the gig. Halifax Common. We are coming to the Common."

Then, with a "2, 3, 4" count by Paul, he and the band then launch into a brief version of "Band on the Run."

 Paul signs off the video with a wave and "See you there."

The site also includes this statement from McCartney: "Very happy to be playing Halifax. The Canadian audiences are great, it will be an exciting event for us all. We are looking forward to rocking in Halifax."

The McCartney website shows tickets are still available.

You buy the dics, read the websites, buy the books, watch the films, over and over, all the while with an ever-increasing sense of regret that you'll never have a chance to see one of Them.
