Paul McCartney took a bit of a fall as he was heading offstage last night (Nov. 21) at Morumbi Stadium in Sao Paulo, Brazil. You can see it in the YouTube video at left.
The fall looks a little nasty, but as you'll see, gets right up and appears to be OK. It apparently looked more serious than it was. And we just heard from his reps, who told us he's fine.

Good thing he wasn't holding that Hofner bass. :)
Yeah, no kidding!
A nasty tumble lucky he didn't hit his head, please be careful Paul.
I am sending prayers and "All My Loving" out to Paul!!!
Dara
Excuse me for not believing he is not sore and in pain. I'm limping today just from watching the clip. I was in Tampa when he fell in the pit. He got right up after that too and said he was ok. I saw him move like his shoulder was sore through the rest of the concert though. He is old school. Rub dirt on it and get back in the game.
I just read that he cancelled the sound check. WHEN HAS PAUL EVER DONE THAT? One report says it's because of rain, but there are also reports from Brazil that he hurt his knee. Gosh, I hope he's OK.
So glad he performed the next day!
I went to the two concerts he made in Sao Paulo and can tell that he was even better in the 2nd night, He was more excited , runned and jumped looking like a little boy all the time so I dont think he got hurt at all . We had a very strong rain on Monday and the traffic was terrible; they probably waited for the rain to stop but since it didn't happen the police had no other choice but to close two brigdes so Paul could reach the stadium without too much delay; But even the roadies coulnd check the instruments because the rain didnt stop, they had to keep plastics on all that and took it off only a few moments before the beginnig of the concert. Part of the lights got burned and part of the two screems also got damaged. So i really do be believe that was the cause of the cancellation of the sound check.
Paul arrived at the stadium with half of this body out of the car and waving to the people stading in the line. It was fantastic.
Also, in the next day he was seen riding a bike in the streets of Sao Paulo.. ^^
