Paul McCartney told fans in Peru in a special video message today he "will rock" them when he appears in concert at 2100 hours May 9 at Estadio Monumental. Various news media in Peru also announced the show in reports Tuesday. (You can McCartney's video announcement at left.)
“Hey, amigos de Perú, nos vemos el 9 de mayo en estadio Monumental. Ok. Come on. We will rock”, said McCartney in the short video. (You can see it at left.)
According to Peruvian newspaper El Commercio Pe, the deal was clinched when luxery box holders agreed to a $75 per ticket price. According to Andina.com, 47,000 tickets will be available.
Tickets reportedly go on sale Wednesday, according to Peru newspapers.
