Dress designer's Stella McCartneys spring/summer 2014 fashion show may not have had what the UK Guardian said Sept. 30 were radical new designs, but it did have some famous faces in the audience, including Stella's dad, Beatle Paul McCartney.
You can see pictures of the attendees and a few designs in the slide show.
McCartney attended the show with wife Nancy Shevell. Also seen in the audience were McCartney's son, James, and Barbara Bach, wife of fellow Beatle Ringo Starr.
The Guardian called the new fashions “ a love-in between the designer and her growing customer base,” and said the new designs were a “tweak” rather than a new direction. Those showing off the new clothes included model Miranda Kerr.
In a press release, Stella McCartney described the new design as “an accent on understated seduction. Fluid silhouettes play on transparency and opacity, in line with the body." A video posted on the designer's site included 10 minutes of footage of the models coming down the runaway showing off the new designs.
Actresses Salma Hayek and Christine Baranski were among those in the audience to view the show.
