Paul McCartney at the MTV Critics' Choice Movie Awards (Dan
Steinberg/AP)
So it wasn't the best of nights from an awards standpoint for Paul McCartney last night at the MTV Critics' Choice Movie Awards. He came home emptyhanded.
But it appears he did have a good time, judging from the video above and the pictures here and in the slideshow below.
The show will be repeated at at 12:30 a.m. on VH1 tonight and 11 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Here is a photo of Paul's arrival from the VH1 website.

The Critics' Choice Movie Awards show was actually on VH1, not MTV.
The see-through skirt is quite a fashion statement. What was she thinking?
Paul looks great, doesn't he? He's pushing 70 and he still looks young. Music will keep you young at heart.
FCB - the skirt is lined so it is not see through. It is a Stella design.
It's cute to see the actors from the Star Trek movies excited to see him.
Paul seemed a little nervous and very animated in the video, if Nancy makes him happy...I'm happy.
Interesting to see Paul glad-handing (mostly forced to by others) good naturedly as he sits with Nancy trying to enjoy himself...which he seems to be doing (bopping around to the music playing in the background). It just makes me appreciate even more what these guys (the Beatles) had to endure CONSTANTLY in public settings. That Paul (and probably Ringo, to a lesser extent) is so good-natured and accepting of it all is admirable. I can understand when John and George got fed up with that stuff. No wonder George barricaded himself in his little castle and hardly came out for years at a time in the 80's and 90's.
I'm not saying the Beatles had it hard, but man, it couldn't have been easy to be one at times.
