He made a great comment about New York Yankees star Derek Jeter, who just passed 3,000 hits earlier in the week. "Who's this guy Derek Jeter?," he said. "I heard he has more hits then me!"

Patti Murawski says celebrities at the show included New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, comedian Chevy Chase, actor Alec Baldwin (and another Baldwin brother), Larry David of "Curb Your Enthusiasm", Paul's son James and John Eastman, brother of Paul's late wife Linda. Denny Laine was also spotted.

As we'd already reported, his soundcheck setlist contained a mix of Beatles and Wings songs, with a couple of not-so-usual titles. You can see the full setlist at the link

Kris Tash, talking about the show, said of the end of the show with "Golden Slumbers," "He (Paul) hit one out of the park better than Jeter."
