On March 20, Paul McCartney's website confirmed the latest date for his Out There! Tour in Montevideo, Uruguay April 19 at Estadio Centenario. The stadium has a capacity of roughly 650,200 people. According to the McCartney website, he played the same stadium on April 15, 2012, as part of the On the Run tour.
The website said a pre-sale for the new show begins through the McCartney site at 6 a.m. local time/9 a.m. UK time April 21. The public sale begins at 8 a.m. local time April 22.
The new show is the earliest date so far on the 2014 edition of the Out There! Tour and makes six shows already scheduled for this year: April 19 at Montevideo, Uruguay at Centenario Stadium; April 21 and 22 at Santiago, Chile's Movistar Arena; April 25 in Lima, Peru at National Stadium; April 28 at Estadio Liga in Quito, Ecuador and May 1 in San Jose, Costa Rica at National Stadium. Other shows on the tour have been rumored for Korea and Japan and possibly the U.S. Some tickets are available here and here.
The 2013 edition of the Out There! tour began May 4 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil at Mineiräo Stadium, and featured over 30 shows in Brazil, the U.S., Poland, Austria, Italy and Canada before ending in Japan.
