The Holiday Music Motel located in Sturgeon Bay, Wis welcomes musician Paul Cebar Sunday, February 3, 2013 for an intimate performance. Cebar, who will also be featured in the 30 Minute Music Hour filmed at the motel, plans on hitting the stage at 7:00 p.m.
Cebar has had a successful career both as a musician and as a radio host. Currently touring with his latest band Paul Cebar and the Tomorrow Sound, he has enjoyed a music career that began in the '70s. While his past widely adored groups, Paul Cebar and The Milwaukeeans and The R&B Cadets were heavily R&B, jazz and bebop, Cebar has long had a penchant for African, Caribbean and Latin American infused sounds. That coupled with a virtual encyclopedic memory for music of all kinds, his unique amalgamation of styles makes him a long-standing treasure amongst musicians and music aficionados. Cebar's music has also been featured far and wide on many AAA stations over the years.
As a radio host, Cebar, according to the WMSE website, brings an:
...incredibly eclectic mix of the deepest soul and vintage R&B. Paul doesn’t stop there. Brazilian, Cuban, African, classic ska, reggae and singer songwriters all drop on the decks.
His radio show can be heard Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon and is considered one of the most popular in the area. Cebar has enjoyed over twenty years behind the radio mic bringing Milwaukee some of the best in music.
