Paul Broun speaks about Obamacare on FOX Business

U.S. Rep. Paul Broun (R-Ga) appeared on FOX Business' "Lou Dobbs Tonight" program along with Citizens United President David Bossie on Tuesday, to discuss the necessity of repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act (ACA or Obamacare).

Broun is a doctor who served as a medical officer in the U.S. Navy. He now maintains general medicine practice of full-time house calls.

The congressman, along with his Republican colleagues John Fleming of Louisiana and Andy Harris of Maryland, published a free e-book "Not What the Doctors Ordered: The Sickening Impact of Obamacare." (You can download it here)

Dobbs asked Broun and Bossie to comment on the recent statement from President Barack Obama who promised that as long as he is the president, the Affordable Care Act will not be repealed.

"We must repeal it, we must replace it, there are solutions," said Broun. "In fact, my Patient OPTION Act would put patients in charge of their own health care decisions. Obamacare is destroying the quality of health care. We already see that it's hurting our economy, it's hurting job creation here in Georgia as well as across the nation.

"It just must be repealed and replaced, with something like my Patient OPTION Act; [Obamacare] cannot be fixed."

Broun assured that as a result of Obamacare, the employers will stop providing health care by hiring only part-time employees. He also warned that patients are going to lose their doctors and their insurance.

The congressman flatly stated that President Obama is "delusional" if he thinks people are going to like Obamacare.

Broun is one several Republicans running for U.S. Senate in 2014 to replace retiring Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga).
