Paul Bearer” dies is making U.S. celebrity news headlines today, as TMZ reported this Wednesday, March 6, that Paul Bearer — whose real name is William “Bill” Moody — the ghoulish WWE legend who would introduce such fighters as The Undertaker, died this Tuesday night at age 58.

With the headline, “WWE Legend: ‘Paul Bearer’ dies at 58”, sources confirm this week that manager Bill Moody passed away last night. He joined the WWE back in 1990, playing as the dark director that helped introduce several big-name wresting stars, including Vader, Rick Rude, and The Undertaker.

The cause of Bearer’s death is still uncertain at this point and time; what is known is that Moody did suffer from major health problems in the last ten years, including gallbladder problems and obesity.

The WWE released an official statement saying ... "WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of William Moody, aka Paul Bearer, at age 58."

"Moody made his WWE debut in 1991 as the manager of The Undertaker and went on to become a memorable part of WWE over the course of the next 20 years. Our deepest condolences go out to Moody’s family, friends and fans."
