Funnyman Patton Oswalt will appear on ABC’s ‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Agent Eric Koenig, a character who was part of Nick Fury’s team in the original movie.

Oswalt gave a hilarious turn as Constable Bob in FX’s ‘Justified’ last season, so he is sure to be a delight to watch in his upcoming role. More recently, he has guest starred on ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ and ‘Parks and Recreation.’

A fan of the show, the ‘King of Queens’ alum stated that when first given his character’s name he did a little researching in Wikipedia on the character. ‘Heroes’ alum Adrian Pasdar is also headed to the show playing Hulk nemesis Glenn Talbot.

‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ which will return on April 1, airs on Tuesdays at 8:00 PM on ABC.
