Patterns for Paws took place last night at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles, California and the event attracted a celebrity guest list and raised much needed funds for The Amanda Foundation. Patterns for Paws was hosted by Kevin Nealon and honored Pauley Perrette who won the “Worthy of Love” award. Celebrity guests included Kristin Bauer who enjoyed the event while raising money for dog and cat rescue through The Amanda Foundation.
Patterns for Paws had a “Pup-a-razzi” theme and animals in need of adoption walked the runway in outfits inspired by Hollywood such as the famous Jennifer Lopez Versace dress and Black Swan. The pets that walked the runway were also up for auction at the event which not only found loving homes for the models, it also helped raise money and awareness for the need for rescuing pets.
The Amanda Foundation is the only animal charity in the Los Angeles area which owns and operates its’ own veterinary service. The in-house service allows The Amanda Foundation to help the animals they rescue from the time they are rescued until they are adopted by their new family. The non-profit also helps pets from other animal rescue center’s at a reduced rate in order to helps all pets who are in need in the surrounding area.
