A couple of NCAA Division III volleyball teams will host matches dressed in will be dressed in pink as the school participates in the annual American Volleyball Coaches Association Dig Pink night. Dig Pink is a fundraising initiative of the Side-Out Foundation, which benefits breast cancer patients.
Gallaudet hosts Gettysburg College (9-9) at 7 pm at the Field House to night. The Bison will be dressed in pink as the school participates in The Bison (14-8) will wear pink during their match. They want fans to show support by wearing pink too. There is a $5 general admission fee for the game for non-students or Bison Pass members. All proceeds will be donated to the Side-Out Foundation.
Kali Frowick and Lane Peters led the Bison offense with 4.13 and 3.55 points per set. Defensively, KateFetzer averages 5.23 digs/set and Giuletta Maucere, or Frederick turns 78 blocks/set.
The game will mark a homecoming for Bullets senior Keyy Milione who played at Battlefield High School. Milione leads Gettysburg defense with 3.75 digs per set. Fosh Hannah Dallman, of W.T. Woodson, also plays for the Bullets.
