Lisa Niemi, widow of the late actor Patrick Swayze, revealed on September 8th that her husband’s favorite horse has died.
Kuhaylan Roh (Tammen x Aleeyah), a purebred white Egyptian Arabian stallion, died in August at age ten. Bred by Maggie S. McNair-Huggins, Kuhaylan Roh appeared with Patrick Swayze during a televised interview with Barbara Walters the year before the popular actor’s death. Patrick Swayze also rode the white stallion when for his wedding vow renewal ceremony with his wife, Lisa Niemi (now 54).
Patrick Swayze died almost a year ago, on September 14, 2009, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. The actor (Dirty Dancing, Ghost, North & South and Road House) was 57 years old when he died. He and Lisa Niemi were married for 34 years.
Together with Lisa Niemi, Patrick Swayze kept several horses (primarily purebred Egyptian Arabians) on their private ranch near Los Angeles, California.
