Patrick Sharp surprises Blackhawks fans wishing Olympians luck

With many members of the Chicago Blackhawks getting ready to represent their native countries at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games, fans were given the opportunity by Patrick Sharp and the Illinois Lottery to record video messages wishing their favorite players good luck.

Little did they know, Sharp was in the room next door watching the whole thing and had a message of his own for each of them.

After recording their well wishes, a generic thank you video was played for them with Sharp apologizing for not being able to be there. But not long after, the fans would be caught off guard by Sharp calling out their name and even poking fun at some of their messages aimed at American super-star, Patrick Kane, and jersey choices of those wearing sweater's of his teammates.

Their faces say it all.

WATCH: Patrick Sharp surprises Blackhawks fans.

Completely surprised by the emergence of Chicago's assistant captain, the reactions varied from laughter to tears but all of their expressions were priceless.

It's heartfelt, fun and a job well done by the Illinois Lottery, Patrick Sharp and the Chicago Blackhawks.

For the record, Shelby wins in my book for best reaction.
