PAT Engineering announced today they have completed the fourth of four mega underground car parks in the Lusail area of Doha, Qatar, as the Rochester Hills, Michigan, company continues to grow it’s global construction footprint.
QDVC awarded PAT Engineering the construction bid to build the underground mega car parks near the Marina District. Each car park was built using products and specifications produced in Qatar with qualified and certified PAT employees.
Lusail is a meticulously planned metropolitan expansion just nine miles north of Doha, the capital city of this economic hot spot . Aside from the city’s entertainment district and two marinas; the new Lusail Iconic Stadium will host the opening and final matches of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The need for the underground mega car parks was highly important; due-to-the-fact that the city can provide accommodations for up to 250,000 people.
As the underground mega car park took shape, delegates from the fourth largest international construction company in the Brazilian market, Queiroz Galvão, met with the President of PAT Engineering USA, Shrawan Tiwari. The meeting included a private walk-through of the project site and a discussion about PAT’s methodology and logistical process behind the construction of the 3-level underground car park.
In addition to the meeting in Doha, Queiroz Galvão also met in Kuwait, where one of the offices of the PAT Group is located, to sign a joint venture agreement with the company.
