Benatar, who last performed in Buffalo at Lafayette Square in 2001, found mainstream success during the 1980s with her multi-platinum albums and hits like “Hot Me with Your Best Shot,” “Love Is a Battlefield,” “We Belong” and “Heartbreaker.” She was one of the most heavily played artists in the early days of MTV and won Best Female Rock Vocal Performance four years in a row at the Grammy Awards from 1980 to 1983.
