Pastor Robert Jeffress accuses Obama of laying foundation for the Antichrist

Texas Pastor Robert Jeffress appeared on Fox News Monday night on The O’Reilly Factor, where he discussed a theory from his new book Perfect Ending: Why Your Eternal Future Matters Today with host Bill O’Reilly, as he theorized that President Obama is actually preparing the United States for the Antichrist.

According to Jeffress, the Antichrist is going to come riding in on a big government, white horse to “wage war against God’s people and change God’s laws," and he will do it without “any opposition.”

But to accomplish such a feat, he will need something/someone to serve as a political wingman/precursor to set the stage for the Antichrist’s biblically anticipated takeover, which will be made possible by conditioning the masses to “accept governmental overreach.”

Jeffress said:

And I want to be clear to say to the folks, I’m not saying President Obama is the Antichrist. In fact, I’m sure he is not, because the Antichrist is going to have higher poll numbers according to the Bible.”

But I believe he is conditioning people to accept governmental overreach, which they will finally give in to when this final dictator comes, whether that’s ten years from now or a thousand years from now.”

O’Reilly responded saying that Obama doesn’t consciously know that he is laying the foundation for the anti-Christ, and Jeffress agreed.

O’Reilly said:

His liberal vision that the government should be large and should impose a certain lifestyle on the nation would make it easier for someone down the lane to abuse that.”

O’Reilly would then ask Jeffress to give some political examples of how the Obama administration is conditioning people to go down the Antichrist path.

Jeffress responded by scolding Obamacare over the enforcement of the HHS Mandate accusing the administration of going after nuns with forced, financial, birth control acceptance and promoting evil, pro-abortion policies calling Obama “the most pro-abortion president in history.”

Jeffress also bashed the Obama administration on its view of marriage.

Jeffress said:

Talking about the re-definition of marriage, he’s the first U.S. president to do that. That’s one of God’s basic laws that marriage should be between a man and a woman.”

Whenever you counterfeit something, you cheapen the value of the real thing, and I believe one reason for the disintegration of the family and marriage is we’re counterfeiting it.”

Last year the U.S. had the lowest marriage rate in its history. Whenever you say marriage is whatever you want it to be – two men, two women, a man and a woman, people say why bother to get married at all.”

Jeffress went on to blame the break down of the family and society as a whole, along with all of the problems America is facing domestically right now, on the systematic destruction of traditional marriage between a man and a woman, which is the destruction of what Jeffress calls "God’s laws," which will eventually clear the way for the rule of the Antichrist.

Now on an insightful note, according to a report by christianpost.com, in his book Jeffress also blamed the prior Bush 43 administration for also usurping the people’s rights through governmental overreach, but he mysteriously failed to mention any of that during his interview on Fox.
