Designer Geraldo da Conceicao, the Creative Director for French fashion house Sonia Rykiel, presented the Sonia Rykiel Fall/Winter 2013/2014 Ready-to-Wear collection at the Halle Freyssinet for Paris Fashion Week on March 1, 2013.
This fun autumnal collection features a lot of tasty pastels more suited to Spring rather than Fall but always a welcome addition to any otherwise drab wardrobe…
Favorites in this Sonia Rykiel Fall 2013 collection are her lilac pink coatdress (also great in a powder blue!), a spotted red, black and white chiffon dress and a blue and white patterned shirtdress.
Rykiel fans will also appreciate the very pretty geometric patterned jumper in jade green, powder blue, black and white.
Sonia Rykiel also has a lovely collection of bags, or rather crossbody shoulder bags in various pastels such as lilac pink, dusty blue with a striated finish and neutrals black and white.
But the Sonia Rykiel Fall 2013 collection isn’t just about pretty pastels, there are a number of neutrals such as cinnamon brown (the scoop-necked dress and a very lovely pantsuit), grey and plenty of black, which is also teamed with pastels.
The Sonia Rykiel Fall 2013 collection is accessorized with semi-transparent knee-high socks and legwarmers as well as peeptoe shoeties (shoe/booties) and pumps. Nicely done Geraldo da Conceicao for Sonia Rykiel Fall/Winter 2013/2014!
