Spring is in the air which means Summer is right around the corner. It is time to prepare your wardrobe for the warm breeze and sunshine. This season's trends are pastels, muted colors, and tailored fits. No more blinding neon and frumpy batwing cuts (thank goodness).

Runway collections are also showcasing; cinched waists and v-neck cuts. The cinched waist will accentuate the smallest part of your torso and will create that renowned hourglass shape and the v-neck will elongate your neck and create the illusion of a fuller bust.

You don't have to buy an entirely new wardrobe for this coming season, buy several pieces that can be easily incorporated into your current collection. For example; purchase a a pair of pastel green pleated shorts (see slide-show) from Forever 21 and wear with some of your current pieces; a white tank top and a fitted black or navy blazer. You can pair this outfit with nude pumps for a dressy look or wear with gold sandals for a casual daytime look.

If you want to ease into the pastel trend, paint your nails with a punch of pastel.

Incorporating your current clothes with current trends will keep your wallet happy and your outfits looking new and fresh.
