Ham and pasta in a creamy Swiss cheese pasta sauce makes for a delicious meal indeed! This pasta sauce adds just the right amount of cheese and seasoning to make it hard to put the fork down – it’s that good!
There are so many shapes of pasta that it’s sometimes hard to choose which ones to use for certain dishes. This pasta recipe works best with penne, rotini, cavatappi, etc., those pastas that have a corkscrew shape or have ribs. These types of pastas hold a hardier sauce and other ingredients well.
This is a perfect recipe for adding extras to satisfy your own personal preferences. Throw in some vegetables (peas work very well) or mushrooms; the flavors will blend perfectly with the rest of the ingredients.
