Not since Lady and the Tramp found love over a plate of spaghetti has pasta been so important to our furry friends. On March 15th, The Animal Network will host its second annual Pasta and Paws event at MEZZO Bistro and Wine (4275 N. Rancho Las Vegas, NV 89130).
The Animal Network is a non- profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals. With a volunteer base of over 50 dedicated Las Vegans, the Animal Network has rescued over 500 animals since it began in 2011. When possible, they provide food or medical care for animals already with families who may be struggling financially. If that’s not an option, volunteers will foster, board and care for the animals until a new forever home can be found.
Pasta for Paws will take place on March 15, 2014 from 1 to 4 PM and will feature delicious food and wine, great raffle prizes and auction items. All proceeds will go towards food, boarding, training and medical care for animals in need. Tickets are available through the Animal Network website for $30 each. Click on the donate button to access paypal. If you do not have an account you will be asked to set one up. Enter amount and click on add special instructions.
