A passenger has a baby on a flight and names the unexpected surprise after one of the airplane crew members who helped deliver her, according to a report by FOX News.
The baby's unheralded arrival happened in the friendly skies over Armenia on Sat., Jan. 13, 2013. Fortunately, thanks to the quick-thinking airline employees, the woman delivered a healthy baby while en route from Siberia to Yerevan, Armenia.
The new mother is 31-year-old Armina Babayan, who claimed she was only six-and-a-half months pregnant when she checked in for the Armavia airline flight. Two hours after the passenger had the baby on the flight, the plane touched down at its destination in Yerevan.
Asmik Gevondyan is the flight attendant who first realized that the pregnant passenger was in labor. She rallied her co-workers together and orchestrated the delivery to the best of her ability. New mom Babayan seemed to appreciate Gevondyan's efforts; she named the infant Asmik.
Congratulations to Armina Babayan, the passenger who had her baby on the flight from Siberia to Armenia.
