Pass the gift Christmas game

This is really fun and requires everyone to pay close attention! The party host needs to type up a story using the words, "left" and "right" many times throughout.

Give a wrapped gift to a guest to start the game. Make sure everyone is sitting in a circle.

If you have more than 6 guests, give two people a wrapped gift to start the game. (Not 2 consecutive people. Leave about 3 people in between the guests holding a wrapped gift.)

As you read your story, each time you say, "left or right", the person holding a gift passes it to their left or right, depending on what word you just said.

At the end, the person or people holding the gift get to keep it.

Here is a sample story:

As I got ready to leave for the Christmas party, I noticed I was right on time.

I finished up, gave hugs to my family and was about to walk right out the door.

I went to get my are keys and realized they were not where I left them.

I ran right over to my 3 year old son and asked him if he saw the keys. He just looked at me.

So, I ran right over to my husband and asked him if he saw where my keys were.

He was no help at all, as he said, "The last time I saw them they were right where you left them."

Great! Now I am going to be late! We all go to searching for the keys.

About 10 minutes later, I found them! My 3 year old son left them in my closet, right in my left shoe!
