The red carpet was rolled out for Miss Teen Asia USA, Meeghan Henry and her celebrity guests on Sunday, September 25th at the 72 North Lounge on Fair Oaks Avenue in Pasadena, CA. It was an evening of food, fun and entertainment from Miss Teen Asia USA singing and performing with her backup dancers.
Some of her guests included Romy Dames of Disney's Hannah Montana, Mrs. Asia USA, Disney actress Tania Gunadi (you may have seen her in the Target commercials), child actors such as 9 year old Matthew Jacob Wayne of Nickelodeon's Bucket and Skinner's Epic Adventures and soon to be released feature film "Two de Force", and Noah Dahl from the movie "Bad Teacher", just to name a few.
Meeghan Henry is a 16 year old Indonesian college freshman at the University of La Verne. Being home schooled she was able to combine two grades in one year, 7th and 8th grade. But that is not one school year, it was 365 days. By the time she reached the 10th grade she had accumulated more credits than your average 10th grader. That is when she decided to finish high school early by combining and completing 11th and 12th grade in one year. Today she is attending college majoring in radio broadcasting.
Meeghan's current goals in life is to finish college and receive a masters degree with a strong interest in becoming a professional singer, using radio broadcasting and communications as her backup plan. With her cool confidence and outgoing bubbly personality it will be no surprise that she will do well in any career she decides on. With such a bright future for someone so young yet so mature, Meehgan is an inspiration and role model for young women everywhere.
