If you are a fan of Pinot Noir, you definitely do not want to miss the Pasadena PinotFest 2013. This is a two week event which starts off with a Kickoff Tasting on Saturday, January 26 from 1pm to 4:30pm at Noir Food and Wine. The tasting is $15, or enjoy a Prix Fixe lunch at $29.00 per person which includes your tasting fee.
The Kickoff Dinner will also be at Noir Food and Wine and will feature the delicious wines of Kosta-Browne, including the high scoring 2010 Rosella and Gap Crown wines. The cost of dinner will be $225 per person, or $189.00 if purchased in conjunction with a VIP or General Admission Grand Tasting Ticket.
The Grand Tasting will be held on February 9 from 1pm to 4:30pm at the Altadena Town and Country Club. Guests will have an opportunity to taste over 200 wines from the best pinot noir producing regions in the world, including California, France, New Zealand and Oregon. There will also be a VIP Tasting Package available that will allow those guests early access to the event, a private lounge and a buffet lunch. The cost to attend the Grand Tasting is $89.00 for General Admission. VIP Tickets can be purchased for $119.00 each.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Hathaway-Sycamores Child and Family Services.
