Pasadena Napalm Division hits Austin - Saturday, August 31

As another skull-baking Texas summer heads towards the finish line, Austin metal gets a boost with an album release party from Houston's own Pasadena Napalm Division, the regional supergroup comprised of members from Force Fed, Dead Horse, and DRI's Kurt Brecht. With DRI on regular tours, it's less often that a PND show comes to town, so this is one you won't want to miss. The Lost Well (formerly Frontier Bar) is a fun but relatively intimate room that has proven itself metal friendly, and even though it's on the East Side, it's at a safe distance from the regular hipster haunts.

Pasadena Napalm Division at The Lost Well, Austin

If you're not convinced, consider the fact that the show is old-school in the best tradition, with only four worthwhile bands on the bill and a five-dollar cover charge. No time or money will be wasted, though at that price, plenty of attendees probably will be at the end of the night. It's a killer lineup in the name of a good time, so show your appreciation and go!

The lineup:

  • Pasadena Napalm Division
  • Force Fed
  • Mala Suerte
  • Anitclimax
