Party plan of the week: Tiffany inspired bridal shower decorations (Photos)

So now you’ve got you’ve got your invitations picked out and mailed to all your attendees. Now it’s time to get the decorations ready for your Tiffany & Co. inspired bridal shower. You’re two basic colors are going to be robin egg blue and white but you can also incorporate silver, black and even pink if you want to add some more color to your décor.

Starting from top to bottom in your decorations is the best way to know what you have and what you need. Depending on where you’re holding the bridal shower a great way to having hanging decorations is by using paper lanterns or paper flowers instead of balloons and streamers to give your décor a more elegant touch. Two great places to score some amazing Tiffany blue decorations are Save on Crafts and Party City. There you can find Tiffany blue lanterns and hanging paper flowers as well as matching table clothes, ribbons, tableware, favor bags, centerpieces and so much more.

To decorate your tables, start off with your Tiffany blue tablecloths and accent from there. No need to stay all blue. Consider adding clear or white plates with blue napkins wrapped with a white ribbon. Your table setting cards should also be in white with blue as the accent color. Don’t think you have to stay all in one color. Play around with some white and black to make the bridal shower not so bland looking.

Add some crystal accents to your tables also. Use several sizes of bowls, vases and dishes (preferably crystal) to fill with candies, treats and even flowers to use for centerpieces. If you want to try something different for your centerpieces use a Tiffany blue vase with white flowers instead. Break up the monotony though by placing the vase atop of a white cloth or doily. If you don’t want to use flowers consider using Tiffany blue bags and place tree branches in them that you have painted white and hang some gems from the branches.

Have some jewels on hand to sprinkle on the tables and add some Tiffany blue sashes to your chairs for a more elegant appeal. Another great thing to do instead of flowers is to have large martini glasses decorate your tables filled with gems and large strands of pearls hanging out.

If you’re planning on giving out thank you gifts or door prizes make sure you have the signature Tiffany & Co boxes on hand for these. Depending on the size you get they can also be used for taking extra desserts home for the guests. Bellissimo Favors carries 2" boxes for party favors that can be placed on your guest plates beforehand and Koyal Wholesale carries 4” boxes that can be used for desserts and leftovers.

Once you start looking around for decorations you’ll find a lot more ideas and great projects to try so don’t be afraid to try something new and unique.

Next up: Drink and dessert bars.
