Party for a good cause: restaurant holding day-long Haiti fundraiser

Partners in Health Stand With Haiti

Upstairs on The Square has set aside Monday January 25 to help raise funds for Partners In Health's Haiti relief efforts.

For lunch, the Harvard Square restaurant is offering a 3-course menu for $20 --$10 of which will go PIH. In the evening, there will be a  party from 6:00-9:00 on both floors of the restaurant. The suggested $25 donation will get you passed Haitian hors d`oeuvres. There will also be a cash bar, with all proceeds benefitting PIH.

"With 10 hospitals and deep roots in Haiti, Boston-based Partners In Health has became one of the pillars of the worldwide response to the January 12 earthquake," reports the Boston Globe in an article published yesterday. The piece details how PIH has been orchestrating its efforts to help relieve and rebuild Haiti--on the ground as well as at its administrative headquarters in Boston. Read the article.
