After the success of the television shows like "Jersey Shore" and "Buckwild," a new reality series called "Party Down South" is coming to CMT. The new series will premiere on Thursday, Jan. 16 at 10 p.m. and will consist of ten one hour episodes. The show is set in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina and will feature eight strangers living together in a house for the summer and having the time of their lives. Some sneak peeks for the series, including a tour of the house and meeting some of the cast members can be seen here.

The show will include eight people who all have different personalities but have fun together as they party through the summer in the south. There's Josh, 31, a self proclaimed "three hundreds pounds of sex appeal" from Mississippi who is always the life of the party. The petite Taylor, 23, from North Carolina who always has her two favorite accessories: her gun and her bible. Tiffany, 25, from Louisiana is the daughter of a farmer who knows how to stand up for herself.

From Lafayette, Louisiana is Lyle, 28, a momma's boy with an accent that attracts the ladies. Lauren, 21, of Pineville, Louisiana is the hard partying girl who jumps into everything with both feet first. Mattie, 24, is a former beauty queen who craves attention. Walt, 26, from Kentucky is a drifter who is known for getting into some trouble and never backing away from a challenge. Ryan, 33, from Alabama is the ladies man who can out drink anyone he meets. No one from the group is actually from South Carolina.

The group will be living, learning and getting into trouble together as they have fun in South Carolina. From redneck water skiing to fireworks to bar nights and incidents with local police, this group of eight will not be without drama, tears, laughter and alcohol.
